The Iowa City Press-Citizen reported that the University of Iowa’s police department arrests made and charges filed have been cut in half from the previous year. They believe that the University of Iowa’s home football games being scheduled earlier than usual this year helped eliminate a significant amount of open container and other alcohol related violations.
